Job Title:   GIS ANALYST

Starting Salary:   $5,236- $8,888 per month

Job Description:   Reports to the Manager of Service Planning and Scheduling. Leads efforts to collect, organize, and maintain spatial datasets; conducts complex spatial analysis, research, and creates maps to support transit planning and scheduling functions; and to evaluate and report transit system performance; enables, supports, and encourages use of spatial data and analysis in support of decision-making; ensures work efforts and products are in alignment with industry best practices.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor's Degree Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Business, Public Administration and Urban Regional Planning, or closely related field. Master's degree in closely related field preferred. Minimum of (5) five years' progressively responsible experience managing data in a geographic information systems environment (this means ArcGlS, etc.) Strong personal computer skills, scheduling programs/applications in particular (Trapeze) is preferred.
