Job Title:   CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Starting Salary:   Min: $8,316 – Mid: $11,656 per month

Job Description:   Responsible for daily operational oversight, staff direction, project coordination, and project execution of multiple departments within the VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Technology & Innovation Division (T&I). Directs, oversees, and has project and staff oversight for multiple T&I departments, including the activities of personal computer hardware and peripheral support, data and voice telecommunications, transportation technology systems, computer operations, application portfolio, and network and data center operations. Responsible for the management of Information Technology related projects with moderate to high complexity and impact across multiple business units. Works directly with the Vice President of T&I to develop business strategy and prioritize project delivery. The Chief Technology Officer will play a key role in helping identify and execute transformative innovations for improving both customer experience and operational best practices.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years’ information technology related experience required. Deep staff management, projects management, and budgeting experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
