Job Title:   SENIOR CLAIMS AND INSURANCE ANALYST

Starting Salary:   $4,345 - $7,285 per month

Job Description:   This position will perform duties in connection with general insurance matters. Also responsible for all purchased insurance coverage needs such as obtaining rate quotes, preparing insurance bids, and following up to ensure adequate cost effective coverage for various risk exposures. Handles complex claims, all insurance subrogation and pursues subrogation recoveries on behalf of VIA. Additional related education or experience may be used in determining an equivalent combination.

Education and Experience:   Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in Insurance, Risk Management, Public or Business Administration or related field. At least 2 years current experience in an insurance-related work environment. Additional related experience preferred. Must have an adjuster’s license. Must have the ability to give oral or written presentations regarding claims and insurance matters.
