Job Title:   DIRECTOR OF CAPITAL PROGRAMS

Starting Salary:   $8,052 - $14,068 per month

Job Description:   Responsible to the Senior Vice President Development for management and oversight of and execution of major VIA capital projects. Assists the Senior Vice President Development with programmatic management and financial management. Applies independent, professional expertise, judgment, and leadership in the development of a broad range of projects that begin with financial and needs based feasibility and end with a finished operational facility. Works concurrently with other agencies and staff to develop long term and short-term budgets and schedules for implementation of regionally significant transportation/transit projects.

Education and Experience:   Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or Public Administration/Finance, or an appropriate technical related field. Requires at least 7 years' experience of related experience preferably in design and construction of major capital programs. This experience must include 5 years of project management experience. Registration as a professional engineer in the state of Texas is preferred and/or a Masters' degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education
