Job Title:   ACCESSIBLE SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

Starting Salary:   $5, 236 - $8,888 per month

Job Description:   Responsible for administration of the ADA Complementary Paratransit eligibility determination process, to include the supervision of professional staff engaged in the review and assessment of applicants for VIAtrans service and the Reduced Fare program. Participates in the evaluation of requests for reconsideration of eligibility determinations. Develops and maintains contacts in the local medical, mental health and human service fields and the local disability community. Develops and directs the VIA travel training program, and implements the VIAtrans Late Cancellation/No Show Policy. Assists in the review of service delivery policies, procedures and new initiatives. Creates and distributes statistical and narrative reports.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, Public Administration or a health-related field; two (2) years of public transportation service planning or ADA policy experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
