Job Title:   LEAD SCHEDULER/ANALYST

Starting Salary:   $5,315 - $9,155 per month

Job Description:   This position is responsible for performing appropriate analytical studies in support of scheduling run-cutting and roster activities; performing schedule adjustments as well as producing schedules for new, adjusted & modified fixed route service. The work includes creating, implementing and maintaining specific methods and procedures to monitor and evaluate fixed route service performance. This function requires an advanced understanding of transit service and scheduling practice. Performs work which requires independent judgment to analyze operational situations and determine appropriate changes. This position is responsible for functions related to allocation of operating hours into work for Operators, based on the provisions of the "Working Conditions of Hourly-Paid Employees".

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Planning, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Transportation, or related field and at least five (5) years of applicable work experience in transit and transportation planning/scheduling, or an equivalent combination. This experience must include 2 years of advanced transit scheduling, run cutting, and rostering, or an acceptable combination. Must be able to mentor other schedulers, and analyst.
