Job Title:   SERVICE PLANNING & SCHEDULING COORD

Starting Salary:   $5,703 - $9,742 per month

Job Description:   Responsible to the Manager of Service Planning and Scheduling. Monitors the activities of a group of Service Planners and Schedule Analysts. Assists in the preparation and development of the annual service plans for all modes and service types, the short-range transportation plan and five-year service plan. Responsible for operations service planning through the implementation of various projects. Coordinates and supervises special research projects and obtains operational data for the preparation and implementation of service revisions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of transit operations. Plans services within budget and maintains cost effectiveness. Serves as a liaison between the strategic planning and service planning staff on long-term projects. Works closely with Fiscal Management, Public Engagement, Engineering, Information Technology, and Strategic Planning Divisions to assure effective coordination of bus and rail service planning efforts

Education and Experience:   Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Planning, Public Administration, Finance, Transportation or related field and a minimum of five (5) years experience in transit service planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
