Job Title:   FINANCIAL/GRANTS ANALYST

Starting Salary:   Min: $4,882 – Mid: $6,609 per month

Job Description:   Responsible for administering multiple grants and handling a wide variety of financial/accounting and budgeting work. Requires thorough knowledge of accounting practices and principles particularly with public sector / non-profit agencies. Must ensure compliance with federal, state, local and internal rules, regulations, circulars, and policies. Works directly with grants and special funds staff to ensure adequate internal controls, efficient and effective use of funds, accuracy of financial reporting systems, and compliance with all regulatory agencies. Performs specialized technical work of considerable complexity and responsibility requiring a significant amount of knowledge of theory/practice in accounting/finance and grant compliance. Handles financial and programmatic reporting, analysis, and other work as needed. Work is performed under minimal supervision, and requires initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, and a minimum of three (3) years of progressively increasing responsibility in grants administration, accounting, finance, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination.
