Job Title:   ACCOUNTANT - GENERAL ACCOUNTING

Starting Salary:   Min: $4,487 – Mid: $6,127 per month

Job Description:   Performs specialized technical work of considerable complexity and responsibility requiring a considerable amount of knowledge of theory and practice in accounting and finance, and expertise and experience in maintaining accounting records. Responsible for preparing periodic financial and analytical reports. Work is performed under occasional supervision only and requires initiative and independent judgment to analyze data or situations and determine solutions to problems within the limits of standard practice and VIA policy. May be required to assist in the preparation of forecasts and other studies based on various operating statistics.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and at least one year experience, or an equivalent combination.
