Job Title:   SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST - GRANTS

Starting Salary:   $5,315 - $9,155 per month

Job Description:   The Senior Financial Analyst Grants position provides comprehensive support for VIA's Capital Budget and Grants Program to include grant development, complex grant accounting and financial analysis, management of pre and post award grant activities, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local rules and regulations throughout all phases of the grant cycle; and assisting in the development and maintenance of VIA's capital budget. Work is performed under minimal supervision and requires initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to develop and implement effective solutions. Supervises department functions in the absence of Manager.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline preferred. Master's degree or CPA certification highly desired. Minimum of 5 years experience in budgets, financial analysis, managing federal and/or state grants, or an equivalent; experience with federal grant programs is desirable. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
