Job Title:   WELLNESS ADVOCATE

Starting Salary:   Min: $3,943 - Mid: $5,308

Job Description:   Assists the Well-being Program Administrator with the promotion of health and wellness initiatives throughout the organization. Develops personalized well-being strategies and goals for individual employees as well as assisting the Well-being Program Administrator with the development of wellness strategies and goals for the organization. Assist with marketing programs to enhance the wellness of VIA employees. Oversees operation, safety, and maintenance of onsite employee fitness center(s). Advocates for employee well-being by fostering employee engagement of program resources, education, lifestyle strategies and other devices.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, kinesiology, public health or a related field and a minimum of 1-year related experience, preferably working in a wellness environment coordinating targeted health and wellness programs and producing promotional materials, or an equivalent combination. Must possess or attain a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification. Health Coach or Personal Training Certification preferred.
