Job Description:   Oversees the activities in the departments of Transportation Technology, Information Services, Technology Operations and IT Client Services. Provides information management services leadership for the company to maximize the effectiveness of data collection, processing and reporting. Defines and solves user requirements and utilizing the IT Team, develops and implements computer applications and solutions. Positions VIA to benefit from emerging technologies in IT.table.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor's Degree — preferably in a field related to one or more areas of department responsibility or in Business Administration. 10 years’ experience in progressively responsible positions to provide an adequate background in a broad range of functions pertaining to mass transit, particularly in one or more of the areas related to the division. 5 years’ experience in a management position reflecting substantive knowledge in one or more areas related to the division. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable.
