Job Title:   IT PROJECT MANAGER

Starting Salary:   $5,159 - $8,629 PER MONTH

Job Description:   Responsible for the management of Information Technology related projects with moderate to high complexity and impact across multiple business units. Also, responsible for providing direction in utilizing an established project management methodology for acquisition, development, testing and implementation of information systems. Researches, tests, advises, writes specifications for procurement on various advanced on and off vehicle technologies. Performs analysis on system issues, coordinates vendor work, maintains online documentation on projects, installation tasks, maintenance tasks, and coordinates project teams as systems are implemented. Regular updates technology staff and other department stakeholders on progress of projects. Consistently checks on the status of projects, communicating and reminding project members of tasks, and updating associated timelines and due dates.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or management related discipline with three or more years of experience in project management, or an equivalent combination. Experience with implementation projects for large commercial off-the-shelf client/server applications. Experience in the design and implementation of automated fare and vehicle technology preferred, but is not mandatory. Experience in design and implementation of projects for computer systems, software applications, network hardware preferred.
