Job Title:   SECURITY SPECIALIST INTERN

Starting Salary:   $17.50/hr

Job Description:   The Security Specialist Intern's role is to assist the Security Engineer with the daily security-centric operations, such as checking system logs, investigating IDS alerts, analyzing end-point protection events, performing security scans, assessing vulnerabilities, and assisting with various security audits. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Education and Experience:   The ideal candidate should be working towards a degree in Cyber Security, or a closely related field, and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT field with involvement in security or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Any industry-standard Security certifications are a plus.
