Job Title:   PARA OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

Starting Salary:   $5,759 - $10,034 per month

Job Description:   Responsible to the Manager of Paratransit Operations and works closely with the Paratransit Transportation Administrator. Responsible for providing safe, dependable, and cost-effective paratransit service. Monitors the activities of Paratransit Station Foreman and Paratransit Supervisors. Responsible for supervisory personnel work requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Monitors the performance of Contract vehicle operators and advises the Procurement Department of the need for remedial action. Coordinates within VIA and with the public at various organizational levels in support of VIA goals and policies and to ensure compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Transportation, or related field and at least five (5) years Paratransit technical and operating experience, with an exemplary record, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
