Starting Salary:   Commensurate with experience

Job Description:   Provides management oversight of the day-to-day transit service and strategic planning, real-estate, and engineering, construction and development functions, participating in long-term decisions regarding public transportation with insight into operational impacts. Effectively manages resources and capital assets, including projects funded by the Advanced Transportation District, while providing safe, reliable, efficient and customer friendly transit service.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in a field related to one or more areas of department responsibility or in Business Administration. 10 years experience in progressively responsible positions to provide an adequate background in a broad range of functions pertaining to multi-modal mass transit, particularly in one or more of the areas related to high capacity transit expansion projects. 7 years experience in a senior management position. Experience should include strategic planning, service planning and capital construction and development. Registration as a professional engineer or certified planner preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable
