Job Title:   MANAGER OF SALES & RIDESHARE SERVICES

Starting Salary:   $6,133 - $10,362 per month

Job Description:   Responsible for the planning and implementation of transit benefit programs,maximizing agency sales revenue, ridership opportunities and increasedawareness among various target markets.Informs businesses, employers, and organizationsofthe benefits of public transit including tax savingsand employee benefits. Responsible for development of sales strategies to growand retaincustomer base amongst area businesses and potential customer markets. Oversee the consignment and sales of fare mediato businessesand retail outletsand maintain retailer relationships.Responsible forinitiating production and distribution of customer information and printed materialspertinent to sales and outreach effortsDevelops and delivers customized presentations to area businesses and business oriented agencies to increase awareness of customer / employee transit programsand rideshare opportunitieswith the goal of increasing sales and ridership.Responsible for managing sales activity and staff.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Salesor related field.Related experience may be substituted.Five years of responsible management and supervisoryexperience in managing a sales team within abusiness, community or transportation/governmentorganizationand demonstrated work history in successfully meeting established sales goalsor an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power point and other software/database programs.
