Job Title:   COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Starting Salary:   Min: $4,487 – Mid: $6,127 per month

Job Description:   Performs professional work in support of community outreach, public engagement and related activities supporting the mission and focus of VIA. As part of a larger team of professionals dedicated to VIA’s public engagement efforts, this position assists in planning and disseminating information to a variety of stakeholders and audiences using different approaches and mediums. This position is a key part of the Government and Community Relations staff which enhances strategic efforts by increasing VIA’s value and presence in the communities we serve.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor's degree in Business, Government Affairs, Public Relations, or a related field and at least three (3) years of experience interacting with business, community, and/or government relations, with prior experience in public sector entities preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and related experience may be substituted.
