Job Summary
Job Title:   VICE PRESIDENT OF PROCUREMENT

Starting Salary:   Commensurate with experience

Job Description:   Responsible for developing and directing the programs and activities of VIA’s acquisition functions, including procurement and contract administration. Accountable for all issues and activities relating to the acquisition of equipment, materials, supplies, construction and services. Responsible for the oversight, direction and implementation of the agency’s Small Business/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, including compliance, outreach, certification, training, technical assistance and all related activities. Provides leadership and vision in achieving best practices in Procurement and Small Business participation.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Minimum ten (10) years management/supervisory experience in the areas of Procurement and Contracts Administration. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable.
