Job Title:   INDUSTRIAL SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Starting Salary:   Min: $4,968 – Mid: $6,798 per month

Job Description:   Performs all duties in support of the Safety Management System (SMS), Agency Safety Plan (ASP), Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP), System Safety Plan, Industrial Safety, Advanced Rapid Transit (ART) including inspections, audits, investigation of industrial accidents, and fire and major property damage. Assists with the Emergency Management Plan. Prepares, evaluates, and publishes accident statistics. The safety efforts will be comprised of time limited, specific and measurable objectives and tasks which result in the most attainable safety performance record and the reduction of accidents to the lowest possible level. Work requires minimum supervision while working towards the desired goals and objectives of the SMS, PTASP, ASP, ART, and the System Safety Plan.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Safety, Safety Engineering or a related field and 3 years safety related experience, to include maintenance/mechanical experience, 5 years preferred, or acceptable combination.
