Job Summary
Job Title:   VICE PRESIDENT FLEET & FACILITIES

Starting Salary:   Commensurate with experience

Job Description:   Oversees the activities in the departments of Vehicle Maintenance and Facilities Maintenance. Ensures that VIA’s fleet of buses, vans, and support vehicles are maintained to operate at peak performance. Ensures that VIA’s operating and customer facilities are maintained in a state-of-good-repair.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in a field related to one or more areas of department responsibility or in Business Administration. 10 years experience in progressively responsible positions to provide an adequate background in a broad range of functions pertaining to mass transit, particularly in one or more of the areas related to the division. 5 years experience in a management position in fleet maintenance. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable.
