Job Title:   MAINTENANCE TECHNICAL COORDINATOR

Starting Salary:   $5,315 - $9,155 per month

Job Description:   Individual is responsible for providing technical support services necessary to optimize maintenance programs efficiency and effectiveness for VIA’s Fleet and Facilities Division. Technical support will range from issue identification and resolution to the development of vehicle maintenance procedures and development of maintenance personnel knowledge and skills. Provide technical support to ensure equipment and facilities reliability utilizing best practice problem solving methods to recommend system upgrades, review and approve new products, and apply continual quality assurance and quality control measures. Relies on significant experience and knowledge to work with persons inside and outside VIA in the procurement, review, and evaluation of technical and complex Fleet and Facilities equipment and materials

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Fleet and Facilities Maintenance, or related technical field. Five years’ technical experience working in a heavy equipment maintenance organization with a focus on repairing and ensuring reliability of fleet and facilities equipment. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
