Job Summary
Job Title:   MANAGER OF PASSENGER AMENITIES

Starting Salary:   $6,225 - $10,673 per month

Job Description:   Responsible for oversight of the Passenger Amenities Program. Uses VIA’s strategic goals and initiatives, ridership information, public engagement, and knowledge of traffic and right of way engineering to develop plans (strategic, implementation and budget) for the Passenger Amenities Program. Maintains a real time inventory of assets deployed at passenger amenity locations. Supports VIA’s Asset Management Programs. Oversees acquisition of right of way and property easements to locate passenger amenities. Prepares specifications and procurement documentation for amenity asset acquisition, site design and construction. Coordinates and informs all construction, maintenance, repair and relocation of passenger amenities. Responsible for passenger information presented at amenity locations.

Education and Experience:   Must have a Bachelor's Degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field and a minimum of five (5) years experience in transportation planning and/or project management, or an equivalent combination. Must be very knowledgeable of transit operations with direct experience in transit service planning and project management preferred. Professional certification based on field of study such as AICP, PE or AIA is also preferred. Education and/or experience beyond minimum requirements may be used to determine an equivalent combination.
