Job Summary
Job Title:   ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Starting Salary:   $3,051 - $4,954 per month

Job Description:   Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support duties required to prepare hourly Payroll records for processing within the Fleet and Facilities Division. Reviews, updates and corrects databases associated with work orders, timekeeping systems, special rates, overtime and other related timekeeping entries related to employee attendance (sick leave, FMLA, death-in-family, jury duty, military leave, vacation, and occupational). Responsible for maintaining Uniform and Tool allowance programs, and Employee Attendance Counseling programs. Prepares work schedule Sign-ups and Bump-offs, annual vacation signups, and holiday work schedules. Responsible for preparing daily and monthly departmental reports. Performs a full range of administrative and clerical support functions within the Division. All work is subject to verification. Uses knowledge of Working Conditions for Hourly Employees, internal policies and procedures for verification and reconciliation of pay related information.

Education and Experience:   Must have completed high school, or equivalent, plus one-year additional business school, college, or training courses in related subjects. Must have at least two years of related experience or an equivalent combination. Education and/or experience beyond minimum requirements may be used to determine an equivalent combination.
