Job Title:   EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Administrator

Starting Salary:   Min: $6,429 – Mid: $8,903 per month

Job Description:   The EAM Administrator leads a team of highly skilled staff that manage the EAM system and asset management section of Fleet and Facilities. They are the lead liaison between Fleet and Facilities Maintenance and Technology and Innovation (TI) on the implementation and administration of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system for the Fleet & Facilities division. EAM is VIA’s computer software that handles every aspect of running a public works or asset-intensive organization. EAM software applications include features such as asset life-cycle management, preventive maintenance scheduling and warranty management. This position is responsible for managing a team of 5 or more individual that are responsible for the research, gathering of and analyzation of business processes, technology, data integrity, reporting and user requirements for the EAM system projects. This position is responsible for the team that writes, revises, and models the business requirements for clarity, project understanding, and problem solving. This position is responsible for providing recommendations based on analysis and oversees the revision of existing documentation and/or creation of new related project documentation (e.g., business, and technical project artifacts, etc.) for various audiences. This position leads the team that provides training and system support on the EAM system and the team that manages the assets within the system and provides compliance reporting to outside government agencies annually. They are also responsible for asset management which includes compliance reporting for federal agencies.

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience required. Additional related education or experience may be used in determining an equivalent combination. Must have work experience related to heavy-duty large-scale fleet operations or enterprise asset management operational procedures.
