Job Title:   DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES

Starting Salary:   $86,100 - 145,104/yearly

Job Description:   Directs the facility engineering and maintenance functions to ensure agency objectives of efficiency and effectiveness are achieved. Oversees lifecycle activities of VIA’s passenger, operating and administrative facilities including but not limited to: planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation, renovation, remodel, and demolition. Responsible for the management and administration of a diverse workforce of represented and non-represented employees working around the clock (24 hours a day every day of the year) to meet strict service quotas and performance standards

Education and Experience:   Bachelor’s Degree in civil, mechanical or industrial engineering. Registration as a professional engineer in the state of Texas preferred. 10 years experience in progressively responsible positions to provide an extensive background in management of facility construction and or maintenance. 7 years experience in a senior management position. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable. Closing date: 01/29/2016
