Job Title:   MECHANIC

Starting Salary:   $20.90 per hour PLUS A DIFFERENTIAL FOR EVENINGS AND NIGHTS

Job Description:   Responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures of plant facilities and related equipment, and public transportation related structures and associated equipment both on and off VIA property. Responsible for performing preventive maintenance inspections of VIA owned equipment and facilities to ensure a satisfactory level of mechanical integrity.

Education and Experience:   Must have at least 3 years of full-time verifiable work experience as a mechanic in any field OR have a 2 year certificate in automotive technology.
